This Year>>

HOW are we almost in March already!?!  I am losing my mind with how fast time is going.  I have an almost 10 month old child!!!  What in the world?  Looking forward though.  We will be traveling to South Korea in less than 2 weeks...that should be GREAT!  A week or so after we get home, is my big "entrance into my late 20's."  There is a possible road trip to Virginia in April....May 1st is hubs birthday, he will officially be in his mid 30's!  Then....dun duh duh dun, May 15 is G's FIRST birthday!!!  WOW-WEE, my mind is blown.

School will be over towards the end of May, and we will have "daddy" all to ourselves for a month ;).  The end of June we will be driving to Florida for G's baby dedication, on my mommy's birthday as well as a big overdue family reunion on the same day.  We head to Tennessee after that for our dear friend's wedding the following weekend.  Will hopefully spend a couple days in Kentucky visiting my brother and his family, then head to Indiana for a couple days.  We eventually will end up in Chicago...Mexico, back to Chicago for another wedding, then we will head home, sometime in August...only for school to start back again. womp.womp.

The day before we leave for Korea is our FIVE year marriage anniversary, and the day after we get to Cabos, Mexico is our FIVE year wedding anniversary.  I know, I know...most people probably wouldn't count both anniversaries, but why not!?!  I cannot believe it has been 5 years already.  Feeling so blessed everyday that we have together, and looking forward to many many more!

Planning to spend more time here, writing.  Just for my own sanity's sake.  We will see though, with how busy things will be getting soon.  All the mumbo jumbo will be fun to look back on in a few years.

This year will be a great one!!!

I need to catch up...

So...Independence Day weekend, a very special person in my life came to spend the weekend with me.  We had a party on Sunday the 3rd at  The Aqua , which was a lot of fun.  Monday we drove down to Indiana and I stayed there all week with some friends from my "home town."  Thank you Ashlen and Austin ♥.  I went down in preparation for my sweet friend's wedding on Saturday, July 9th.  I was a bridesmaid in the wedding...and wanted to be there to help set things up with her and her family. So...I plan to write more about my experiences the last few days..but right now I am stressed for time.  So I will post some photos until then.

this time last year..

This time last year my husband, our pup, and I were living in a tiny little truck bed camper in the middle of NO MAN'S land California.  Our energy was powered by a generator that we had to fill with gas every single day, and our heat was powered by propane tanks that were so old we could hardly find a place to get them filled.  Thanksgiving was a cold, gloomy, rainy day and we were stuck inside all day.  We tried to cook food on our tiny stove, but it was by no means a traditional Thanksgiving.  We watched movies almost all day and played with our pup, who was still new to us.  I was so heart broken, I could hardly see straight.  He held me together when I felt like falling to pieces.  I had a lot to be thankful for, I had my health, my husband, I had food, family...you know, all the things we are always used to having.  I was still so sad.  I wanted to spend the holiday cooking, eating, spending time with the people I love, being comfortabl...
