Grandparents

Grandpa Eugene & Grandma Myrta I must say, I have been blessed with the most amazing grandparents and great-grandparents anyone could ever imagine.  The best part is that for the majority of my life they have been alive, and I have had the time to get to know them, and love them.  My mom's parents are angels....I just know it.  Those two are the two most special important people in my life.  They have prayed for me since before I was born, I am sure of it.  Talk about having an example to look up to!  Now that I am an "adult" I realize just how precious they are to me each day that I still have them in my life.  I am so thankful for their good health, and for all the different forms of communication now'a'days, that makes it so simple to keep in touch.  My dad's parents, though not as big a part of my life, have a very special place in my heart as well.  My grandmother, who just recently passed away a few years ago was always kind...

a friday in february

What a blast I had today with my lovely husband.  We have been talking about going to this big annual auto show for the last few years, and finally went this year.  He asked me on a "date" this week to go to the auto show today!  I LOVE cars, so this was right up my ally :o)  I think it was my first time seeing a real concept car in REAL life.  Supposedly the car I own was a concept car once upon a time, but...doesn't really seem to "concept-ee-ish" to me.hahaha  Those cars were pretty cool I must say.  One of the concept cars was like a little cafe inside, I wanted that thing so bad!!! I was hoping for the new 2012 beetle to be on display, but it doesn't get introduced until the New York Auto Show...in APRIL!!!  Still pretty excited to see it when its out on the market.  Looking forward to the next car/auto show hopefully when the weather warms up, won't be like this one I'm sure, but nonetheless a car show and some fun. (cafe car heh...

ZUMBA BOOMBA!!

So, last week I begged my husband to join me in my first Zumba class at the gym we go to.  He did it with me, YAY!  Let's just say...I did NOT feel any of my Puerto Rican-ness coimng out during this class.  Of all the times that I would need it to shine through, this was not the time, HOW INCONVENIENT!  All I could imagine was my grandma and great grandma showing me up on some dance moves we were doing in this class.  FUNNY!  I enjoyed it, wish I could move a little better though.  To top things off, I am the MOST uncoordeinated person in the universe.  Someday I hope to be a "pro" at this whole "dance exercise" thing, cause all in all I really had fun and enjoyed myself, so much so, that I went again last night.  We shall see if practice really does make perfect. ;o)
